Il Doge is a secluded and refined residence within Palazzo Giustiniani, offering an atmosphere of serene luxury and timeless character. Designed to host up to ten guests, it features five spacious master bedrooms, each furnished with a king-size bed and an elegant en-suite bathroom.
The interiors embrace a minimalist aesthetic that highlights the building’s original 17th-century architecture while introducing modern comforts with discretion and style. Seven-meter-high star-vaulted ceilings lend a sense of grandeur and lightness, and the overall layout reflects a seamless dialogue between antique tradition and contemporary living. Centralized air conditioning and heating ensure year-round comfort throughout the residence.
The living room offers a tranquil space for conversation and relaxation, leading naturally into a dining room that accommodates twelve guests around a large Lazy Susan table—ideal for shared meals and long evenings. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped and designed for both everyday use and festive occasions, connecting the culinary experience with the social heart of the home.
Guests of Il Doge also enjoy a private hammam, offering a deeply relaxing, spa-like atmosphere within the walls of the historic palazzo. From the interior, the experience flows outward into a private terrace perfect for open-air dining and restful afternoons, and a secluded swimming pool—heated in the mid-seasons—set against a backdrop of traditional stonework.
